Full disclosure: I’m a woman. Distance is my go-to shoe always and forever! I wanted this bright pretty red color, so I subtracted 1.5 sizes and BAM I’ve got my women’s size equivalent! I can’t believe it took me more than a decade to figure this out, but I’m really happy to have doubled my color options in my favorite shoe!

Favorite Show For All Runs

These have been my go to shoe day in and day out since I was introduced to Newton running shoes in 2018!

I have enjoyed how consistent each model feels. These shoes are light weight, but stable. They have excellent responsiveness for races and fast workouts. However, some how they still provide enough support for all my runs.

If you want a shoe that can do it all.. look no further!

Still a Great Shoe

I've been running in the Distance and Distance Elite for a decade. Started with the Distance III in 2014. Still a great solid shoe. I use the Distance Elite for speed work and races. The Distance for all other runs. Keep up the great work Newtown!

Amazing speed trainers!!!

First, the color combination is really attractive! Running with it makes you stand out.
It is very light, cushioned, and has a breathable upper mesh. The lug system gives me the "rocking" motion and glides me forward on every stride.
The shoes are very durable and really good for racing, speed , and tempo runs. (I will use the cf1 carbon racer for racing)
10/10.
