Great shoe

I was a little reluctant to spring for the Carbon Racer, my first such type shoe. But they've well proved their worth. Been using them mostly for races and I clocked my fastest 5-miler in years in the shoes. They also work great for training runs, especially on hills - lots of spring and forward motion. A sound investment, plus lots of compliments on the bright color!

Happiest of feet

Normally I train and run in the Kismets, but after seeing the CF1’s, I had to try them out. Right from the unboxing to hitting the pavement with them, has been rewarding for my lower extremities. Every stride feels rejuvenated. It’s like running on clouds. Bravo for the CF1.

Fast shoe!

These carbon racers have been amazing for my speed work and 5k races. They give me a nice pop and have shaved off minutes from my 5k giving me a PR. If you want to add a little extra to your shoe lineup, these are IT!

The greatest pair of running shoes I've ever owned!

So I'll start off first by saying that I've been a steady Newton customer (going on 7 years now) and of all the different pairs of Newton's I've owned...the CF1 Carbon Racer is by far the BEST of them all!!!

When I initially looked at them I had not been too big on the higher stack style shoes. However seeing them in person with the aesthetics, features (carbon plate on heel, nicer laces, better mesh) and comfort be it walking, running or even hiking only reaffirmed that I had made a good decision.

I do a lot of different cross training (long walking/hiking/hills/sprinting) and the Carbon Racer was able to exceed my expectations and improve my performance in every metric!!

My only regret is not buying 2 pairs, as they are sold out..lol.

Amazing shoe....the best!!! 5 stars!!!

Great shoe
