This is the best trainer Newton has ever made. Great cushion for everyday training, great longevity, great color, and super comfortable!

Bought them for Jump Rope

I actually can't wear Newtons for long runs because of tendonitis, but I really love the sensation I get when I wear them for short distances. I've had to seriously cut down on my mileage because of my injuries and have switch to jump rope (all fore-foot striking). I bought these shoes because I thought they'd be good for jump rope. They are fantastic. I have broken my Personal Best for continuous skipping (no trips or stopping) on several workouts. I can go for 2 hours forwards and recently broke an hour skipping backwards. Great customer service. Super comfortable shoes. Love the colorway. Affordable with a Black Friday coupon. I will get another pair next year. Highly recommended for jump rope.

Nice transition from the Newton Motion model

I've been wearing for many years Motion 6 model Newtons, but only for races and occasional treadmill work (hence why they've lasted so long); used various other makes/models for regular training. The Newton's alway had the best fit, and counter nicely my pronation issue and flat feet/lack of much arch. Went with the new Momentum model instead, due to more cushioning, and no regrets - all the good fit and feel of the Motion, but even a little more comfortable. Great shoes (wish more color schemes offer - the light blue would not be my prime choice, but I've gotten used to it) - just the right weight, balance, and traction.
