I love these trail shoes!

I have had every version of the Boco AT trail shoe that Newton has had in the last decade or so and I love them. If you are worried about it for the trail, they definitely have a less pronounced lug system on these than Newton’s road shoes, which I think is a good thing for this application. The lugs are however more aggressive from a traction perspective though, which make them super grippy even in slick conditions. I would love it if Newton brought back the Gortex (TM) version of these. Those were awesome when the trails got wet. I think they only had that version for 1 model or so and that feature kept my feet dry during a 25k trail race that was pretty messy. Either way, I’ve had many of them and will keep getting the Boco!

Been using my new trail shoes for trail/road running and hiking in the California desert. Work great for all uses over sandy and rocky trails and on streets. Switched out the inserts to a prescribed set for a little more durability and work great. Would buy again.
