Dynamic Cushioning

Run faster and stay fresher thanks to the symmetrical dual midsoles made of our newest PEBA foam—Newtonium-P. Sculpted high enough to maximize cushioning, but low enough to maintain superior responsiveness and ground feel you'll run farther with less effort and leave your old PBs in the dust.

The ART Of Speed

Newton’s proprietary Action Reaction Technology generates energy from the active movement of the lugs in & out of the midsole like a trampoline. The CF1 is powered by a new carbon plate ART™ that is engineered to maximize energy return to let the speed flow naturally from your stride.

Momentum Maximized

One of the secrets to the speed of the CF1 comes from the synthesis of a geometry that encourages momentum and the Action Reaction Technology™ that channels it into thrust to make you feel like you’re running downhill.

Nice ride

These shoes are great so far. You can really feel the difference with the spring they have compared to other non carbon shoes. Minor complaint is the strings knot to easy. So thin I do not think they will last very long.

Yes please

They did it!!! I have been a Newton fan for 12 years now and love the feeling that Newton Running shoes give. I was hesitant on how they would still do this with a high stack shoe. Not only do you still get that Newton feel but these feel amazing. The cushion is right on. Just the right amount. The carbon plate adds the right amount of spring to your step and add the signature action-reaction technology and you have perfection. Thank you Newton for making this shoe and I can’t wait to have these on during my next race.

Really enjoying them

I’ve run in distance and gravity for a good 10 years. Currently switching up between distance and gravity 12s/13s. Decided to try these as I’m a heavier runner and wanted to see what the extra cushioning and carbon would feel like. They felt great from the start and after 3 runs - 19 miles total, I’m really happy I bought them. Legs feel fresh enough for back to back runs. Definitely will be in my rotation, and tempted to use them all the time.

I’m in love

I was so hesitant because I love Distance. Any time I try to start from them I end up regretting it. Mine carbon model arrived yesterday and I laced them up today with low expectations. They immediately felt amazing. I was running faster with less effort. It felt like I was landing on a cloud but then the cloud would push me forward instead of letting me sink too low. Now I’m afraid my go-tos will feel like a lot of work because these feel like cheating.

So far so great

Went for my first run in these. I was a little skeptical but they feel great. Same fit I’d say as the Gravity, great mid foot transition, but much padding, cushion, and “push” as you’re turning over. Really interested to see how they wear and hold up.
