As 2024 winds down, we are counting down our Top 10 Company highlights from the year!
1) Newton's first ever carbon plated shoe launched! The CF1 contributed to PR's at every distance from the mile to 50 milers. Watch for the second generation, the CF2, in 2025!
2) Newton's newest cushion model, the Momentum, was created! The Momentum became an immediate fan favorite, thanks to its perfect pairing of performance of comfort.
3) Newton athlete Becca Pizzi won both the Volcano Marathon on Easter Island in Chile and the Antarctica Marathon. Becca also put on a successful 5k race to benefit the school system in Belmont, Massachusetts.
4) Hungarian-born Austrian Physicist Ferenc Krausz won the Nobel prize for his experiments with attosecond pulses of light. Ferenc is an avid marathon runner, so Newton created a special pair of shoes for him featuring an attosecond.
5) Harvey Lewis spent 2024 doing Harvey Lewis things. He ran a Badwater Double and then finished on the podium at the Bigfoot 200 a mere two weeks later. A Badwater Double? That is where someone runs the iconic Badwater 135 mile race across Death Valley and then turns around and runs back to the start line. Harvey ran 270 miles across the hottest stretch of road on earth. We can't wait to see what he has in store for 2025!
6) 2024 was a huge year for our European Team! A new store was opened in Erkelenz, Germany. If you are in Europe, stop by Querfeldrein to check out all things Newton!
7) Newton Athlete Meghan Duffy Seiter had the summer of her life when it comes to running PR's. Meghan set the course record at the Savannah 1/2 Marathon before finishing on the podium at the Every Woman's Marathon.
8) Newton partnered with New York City celebrity trainer Beth Nicely to raise money for the Pink Agenda. The Pink Agenda raises funds for breast cancer research and awareness. Beth ran the New York City Marathon as a fundraiser for the nonprofit.
9) We had a blast at the Chicago Marathon with Commonwealth Running. The special Chicago flag Isaac was a huge hit with participants and spectators!
10) We spent the year working away on some very cool projects for 2025! Keep your eyes peeled for new colors, new models, new trail shoes, new carbon shoes and new shoes that you never saw coming!
