Boulder, CO--Newton Running’s Terra Momentus Off-Road Guidance Trainer shoe was awarded “Best Innovative Product of 2010 “ from Triathlon America, an industry organization dedicated to promoting the sport and business of triathlon.

“Newton Running is very honored to receive this recognition from our industry peers,” says Keith Simmons, president of Newton Running, the leading natural running footwear brand. Simmons accepted the award on behalf of Newton co-founder and shoe designer Danny Abshire. The award was presented by Active Network at the first annual Triathlon America Conference on February 28 in La Jolla, California.

Award winners were determined by a National Voting Panel comprised of Triathlon America founders and 10 members of the triathlon community including athlete icons Mark Allen, Dave Scott, Paula Newby-Fraser, Karen Smyers plus NBC Today Show host Natalie Morales.
