Newton Natural Running™ Form Coach Certification

Newton Natural Running™ Form coaching certification provides coaches with knowledge designed to assist clients with efficient running form, injury prevention and training goals.

Newton Natural Running™ Form Coaching Certification requires participants to:

• Practice a Newton Natural Running™ form (e.g. Chi, Pose, Evolution, barefoot).
• Attend a coaching certification course.
• Submit a background check and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
  
• Complete a practical examination at the certification course.
• Submit a two to three minute video of themselves coaching Newton Natural Running Form after they've taken the certification course.
  
• Complete an online written test after they've taken the certification course.

  *These are the requirements for a basic Level 1 Coach Certification (see additional levels below).  If candidate fails to complete any of these items successfully, they will be certified as A Newton Natural Running Form Trainer.

Certified Newton Natural Running™ Form Coaches can:

• Teach and analyze Newton Natural Running™ form.
• Present Newton Natural Running™ talks and clinics.
• Use Newton Natural Running™ certified logos and marks.
• Obtain a free listing on newtonrunning.com.
• Get discounts on Newton Running products.
• Become a Newton Running Affiliate.
• Receive 5 non-USAT Continuing Education Units.
• Receive 12 NSPA Continuing Education Units.
  

Coaching levels

Form Trainer:

• A Newton Natural Running Form™ Trainer has undergone the base level "coaching" program and is qualified to teach running form but does not hold a coach level certification
• Trainers include individuals who may not need or want a certification.
• Trainers are not allowed to use the term "Newton" or "Newton Natural Running" when advertising their courses, but may say, for example, "Natural Running Form Clinic."
• This is the primary level of education.
• They will receive a Form Trainer Certificate.
  
• Trainers are not required to pass an certification test or submit a video, but may do these at any time if they decide to upgrade to a Level 1 Coach.

Level 1 Coach:

• Level 1 Coaches are qualified to lead Newton Natural Running Form™ clinics. 
• They will receive a Level 1 Coaching Certificate.
  
• They are allowed to use the term "Newton" and "Newton Natural Running" when advertising their courses, but MUST seek approval from Newton Running.
• Level 1 Coaches are required to pass an annual re-certification test to maintain their certification.
